Automotive Information Security Management: DAM achieves prestigious TISAX® certification
DAM can now boast of being one of the very first French companies to be certified by TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange), a standard defined by the VDA, the German association of the automotive industry, which guarantees the highest possible level of protection of information and know-how in the face of increasing cyber attacks.
Awarded by ENX, the governing body of this certification, TISAX® is specifically tailored to the expectations of the automotive industriy, driven by major car manufacturers such as Audi, Daimler, Mercedes, Volkswagen.
Based on an information security management system (ISMS) similar to ISO 27001, the objective is to guarantee customers the implementation of concrete measures that reinforce the security of their information, whether in physical or IT form.
In order to obtain this certification, DAM has implemented a series of procedures aimed at strengthening information security: data security, server security, transaction security, and all interactions with the outside world. This work involved all the company’s departments and now enables it to offer a guarantee of protection for its customers’ information, but also to tangibly reinforce the security of the DAM group’s key information.
